A journey taken this stairway to heaven
A leap of faith as destiny awaits
Some are spared for fate to record
The launching of ships and whose aboard
Dreams lost and lives broken
Time and memories are left to share
Hearts swell with darkness and despair
Screams to God this burden to bare
It’s man’s desire to probes and scans
The oceans floor the sky and then
As history is written its certain to say
It’s resilience in men that paved the way.
Commentary:
